Please be advised that Hartman Road (connecting Route 18 to Route 520) will be under construction starting October 11th with the following schedule:
Tuesday, October 11th – Milling of the roadway surface
Wednesday October 12th through Friday October 14th – Roadway surface repairs
Monday Night, October 17th – Roadway paving
The roadway will remain open for milling and roadway surface repairs but will be subject to alternate lane closures. The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the roadway paving on Monday night at 7 PM until Tuesday morning at 7 AM. During this time, a detour will be set up to divert traffic to Route 79.
Please be advised that the Township has commenced the 2011 Roadway Improvement project which will include the resurfacing of the following Municipal roadways:
· Concord Road
· Evergreen Road
· Hartman Road
· School Road East from Hudson Street to Dutch Lane
· Amboy Road from Texas Road to Point of Woods Drive
· Boundary Road between Castlehill Drive and Dutch Lane
· Beaver Hill Road
· Doree Road
The construction contract for the work has been awarded to JADS Construction with the work anticipated to take approximately eight weeks for completion. As there are many roadways included in the project, it is anticipated that each roadway will be under construction for anywhere from 2 days to two weeks depending on the length of the roadway and the amount of work associated with each. Certain roadways will be subject to periodic shut down as required for certain aspects of the construction but will remain open at all times for emergency personnel.
