The Marlboro Township Police has been investigating a string of residential burglaries. The Burglaries have occurred on Friday, Saturday and Sundays between the hours of dusk to 9pm. Jewelry, cash and other small valuables have been taken from the homes.
The Marlboro Township Police is asking our resident's to take extra safety precautions.
1. Make sure you lock all doors and windows.
2. Cutback all shrubbery blocking your windows and/or doors.
3. Use outside lighting that is motion sensored.
4. If you have an alarm, make sure it is in proper working order and activated when not at home.
5. REPORT ALL SUSPICIOUS VEHICLES OR UNFAMILIAR VEHICLES AND/OR PEOPLE IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD TO THE POLICE.
6. Have a "Home Security Survey" completed for your home by contacting the Marlboro Township Police Community Services
Unit at 732-617-0186.
7. Keep all valuables secured in a safe or safety deposit box.
