Shade Tree Committee (STC)

The Marlboro Shade Tree Committee is now accepting applications for a garden plot for the 2018 Garden Season. (http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/garden)  All applicants must attend one mandatory meeting scheduled for all meetings will be held at Marlboro’s Town Hall.  Plots will be assigned and invoices will be issued by the Township after all meetings have taken place.

Please note: if you are already a member of the garden or have previously submitted an application, you do not need to complete the application again. However, you must attend one of the mandatory meetings.

If you wish to apply and have not attended one of the previous meetings (Jan. 22 and Feb.11) the final meeting for the 2018 season is Monday March 12, at 7pm, Town Hall.

MARLBORO COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Marlboro Shade Tree Committee launched the Community Garden in 2016. The first year was a huge success. Community Forestry Management Plan

Marlboro Township - TREE CITY USA - Since 2008

Marlboro Township has acheived “Tree City USA” community status annually since 2008, meeting the high standards to earn this honor with an active tree board, a tree-care ordinance, a community forestry program and an annual Arbor Day observance. The Tree City USA program is sponsored by the Arbor Day Foundation in cooperation with the National Association of State Foresters and the USDA Forest Service.
