We are pleased to announce the 2014 Annual Spring Cleanup and Bulk Item Pickup. The pick-up dates are as follows:
- Zones 6 & 7 April 28th
- Zones 1 & 8 May 5th
- Zones 2 & 4 May 19th
- Zones 3 & 5 June 2nd
Please place all items curbside by 7am of your scheduled pick up day. Note that it can take up to a week to complete the bulk pick-up in a particular zone, but once the truck has cleared your street of debris they will not return. Large appliances are picked up separately and may be left until the end of the week.
Please be advised that electronics (i.e. computers, televisions, stereos) may not be left curbside during bulk pick up and will not be picked up as per state regulations. All electronics may be brought to the Township Recycling Center at no charge. No permit or fee is required for electronic recycling.
In addition, in keeping with our commitment to make Marlboro "green” and to encourage residents to dispose of bulk items in a safe and legal manner residents may bring non-construction household bulk items to the Township Recycling Center throughout the year. There is no fee for this service, but in order to ensure that only Township residents use the facility a free permit is required and can be obtained Monday to Thursday from 7:00-3:00 at the Public Works Office.
For complete rules and regulations and a list of permitted disposal items see page 10 of the Recycling Calendar mailed to your home in January. This, and additional information such as Recycling Center hours of operation and your recycling zone, may be found at http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/dpw_recy_center.html
