On behalf of Mayor Jonathan Hornik, the Town Council, the Economic Development Committee and the citizens of Marlboro Township, it is with great pleasure that we welcome new businesses to our community.
To that end, the Marlboro Township Economic Development Committee conducts Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies as a free service to our new businesses. Ceremonies can be performed by themselves or as a part of an open house or grand opening. We bring the camera, official scissors and, of course, the ribbon!
To qualify, your business needs to be located within Marlboro Township and:
- You should be within your first year of opening your business
- OR you should be within a year of purchasing an existing business
- OR you should be an existing business in a new business location
There are many benefits to having a ribbon cutting ceremony for your new business or location. Ribbon cutting photos appear on the Township website, members of the Economic Development Committee will be in attendance and on occasion, local elected officials will attend as well. Your business will also receive a proclamation and letter from the Mayor.
We are confident that you will have a successful beginning and a prosperous future in Marlboro Township and we look forward to offering you our continuous support for many years to come.
