IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SAVING THE WORLD...

On Saturday November 21, Marlboro’s hard working Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) will be joining forces with our visionary Marlboro Township Green Team. This extraordinary joint venture will take place right here in Town! Come help and be part of something big.
TAC teens and Green Team volunteers will be canvassing our Town and educating our community on cutting greenhouse gas emissions through the use of energy-efficient compact fluorescent light (CFL) technology.  Each home visited by a TAC teen or Green Team representative will receive a free CFL light bulb.  For this important initiative, these now familiar corkscrew shaped bulbs come compliments of Project Porchlight, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program.™  Our goal is to distribute in excess of 1500 CFLs!  This endeavor is to advance our administration’s commitment to Going Green in		Marlboro and creating a sustainable community!  There will be refreshments, 'T' shirts and orientation on the benefits of CFLs. All are welcome.
