    MUNICIPAL OFFICES CLOSED:  All Township offices and the Recycling Yard will be closed on Monday, February 20 in observance of Presidents Day.  The Police are open 24/7 and may be reached by calling 732-536-0100.  In case of emergency, dial 911.

Due to winter weather activity, the OEM has SUSPENDED ALL CURBSIDE BRUSH PICKUP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  No brush or other lawn debris may be placed curbside.  Please see the email from Lt. Cherbini, Acting Coordinator of Marlboro OEM for MORE.

From the Marlboro Department of Public Works:

  • Please note that the Marlboro Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has suspended lawn debris pick up until further notice (see above for details). Residents may bring leaves and brush at no charge at the Township Recycling Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00am to 1:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm.  Alternatively, you may contact a private contractor to remove the debris.  Refer to Page 10 of the calendar.  
  • The Township 2017 Official Recycling Calendar is now posted on line HERE. The calendar has been mailed to all homes in the Township.  Changes to schedule may occur at any time and residents will be notified via email, Social Media and on the Township website.   
  • TOWNSHIP RECYCLING PROGRAM- Marlboro has contracted with Central Jersey Waste and Recycling to pick up the Township Recycling. All recyclables must be placed curbside by 7:00am of your pick up day and may be collected anytime between 7am and 5pm.   Items must be placed in a reusable container that is not larger than 32 gallons; plastic bags or larger containers will not be collected. If your items have not been collected by 5pm, please leave them curbside and leave a message at 732 536-0188 or email to publicworks@marlboro-nj.gov . Please see the 2016 Recycling Calendar HERE for your zone and recycling regulations.

From the Marlboro Division of Public Safety:

  • Marlboro Township Police Youth Academy application for summer 2017 is now available.  The Academy will run from August 7-18.  Open to current 7th and 8th graders.  Space is limited.  Get your application in soon.  Email agoldberg@marlboropd.org for more.  APPLICATION.
  • Police warns of phone scammers.  No police department, tax office or utility company will demand payment over the phone or insist you mail in a pre-paid card. Seniors are a particular target.  If in doubt, call the police.

  • Marlboro Township Division of Police, in collaboration with the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office introduces the Monmouth County Special Needs Registry for adults and children. Click HERE for more.
