Road Construction Notices
Repairs to Ginesi Drive will begin May 14, 2013. Milling operations, crack repairs and paving will take place over several days. The actual paving of the road is scheduled to allow for the least traffic disruption.
Beginning June 19, 2013, Robertsville Road is to be milled and overlaid from Topanemus to the Freehold Township border. The first phase will be from Topanemus to Ryan and then from Ryan to Freehold border. The School buses stop running June 21st allowing for less traffic disruption.
As always, the schedule is subject to weather delays. More information will be forthcoming as the projects begin.
Monmouth County has advised the Township that Dutch Lane Rd will be closed from Randolph Rd to School Rd east on April 17th and 18th from 6:00am to 6:00pm for their road resurfacing program. Detours will be set by the County. School bus routes will not be affected by the road closures.
The Old Bridge section of Spring Valley Road between Jocama Blvd. and Sanctuary Blvd. will be closed for a period of 3 months beginning April 1. Detour signs will be posted.
Please note that the County and the Department of Public Works will be conducting minor repair work at Route 520 and Crine Road on Wednesday October 24. There will be no detours and the work is expected to last one day.
Please be advised that Greenwood Road, between Texas and Ticetown Roads, will be closed beginning April 24th at 8:00am until further notice. Please plan an alternate route while repairs are being made. Thank you for your patience!
