PLANNED OFFERINGS FOR SWIM CLUB MEMBERS

SWIM CLUB DAY CAMP: Your child must be 4 years of age or older by August 15.  Any child whose 9th birthday falls prior to March 1, will not be accepted. Call for details; Early Session: 11:00am - 4:00pm Late Session: 12:30pm - 4:00pm

SPORTS CAMP: Due to many requests, we are offering a sports camp for the older campers ages 8-10. The emphasis will be on swimming, baseball, soccer, football, in addition to various other sports of interest. We will be using fields adjacent to the swim club.
Time: 11:00am - 4:00pm

SWIM TEAM: The Marlboro Marlins Swim Team is open to all members ages 6-18. A tryout is required. The swim team consists of over 125 swimmers. The Marlins compete against various swim teams in the Monmouth County region.

LATE NIGHT OPENINGS: The swim club will be open on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings until 9pm during the month of July and early August. This way members can enjoy the wonderful late night summer weather.

TGIF: On Fridays, during our extended hours in the month of July, members will enjoy a DJ, and rides for children.

WEEKEND KIDS ACTIVITIES: Sports such as soccer, whiffle-ball, swimming races, kickball, plus a variety of other activities, will be scheduled for kids during the hours of 12-4 on weekends. We are attempting to hire an athletic director to supervise and run these weekend activities.

AQUATIC EXERCISE: We offer water aerobics 7 days a week approximately 1:30-2:30pm in the main pool.

SWIM LESSONS: Group lessons, individual lessons and moms and tots classes are available to all members.

LIFEGUARD TRAINING COURSE: In the spring, we offer an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course. This course will certify you to be a lifeguard. Positions are usually offered to successful candidates to work at the Marlboro Swim Club. Minimum age requirement - 15 years of age upon course completion. Those that work for the swim club and meet certain conditions will have the course fee refunded over a 2 year period.

SCUBA AND SNORKEL EXPERIENCE: The Swim Club brings in a professional diving school to give an introduction to either Scuba Diving (with tanks) or Snorkeling for a very minimal fee.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE SWIM CLUB: Why not give your child or adult the best birthday party possible. Have your party, family reunion, or any get together at the swim club. For a $35 set up fee, you will get 2 tables and 20 chairs. Members are free, and non-members are admitted with guest passes. Use the pools, slides, playgrounds, and pavilion for a day of fun in the sun. Party dates are limited so schedule early.

ADULT VOLLEYBALL: On late nights and Saturday afternoons, we have adult volleyball games on our upgraded sand volleyball court.

ADULT BASKETBALL: On weekends if enough sign up. Enjoy a morning game at the swim club.

MAH JONGG MONDAY: Join a group and play Mah Jongg on Monday late mornings.
