Township Call for Volunteers

Our Town’s Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) is in need of 2-3 adult facilitators to work on a volunteer basis with our current adult facilitators and Teen Executive Committee overseeing and administering the TAC program.

Marlboro Township is always looking for residents who want to volunteer on Township Board and Committees.  Most of the Boards and Committees and a description of what they do can be found on our Township website on the fop down box at the top of the home page.  We encourage you to look through and see what topics interest you.  If a committee does not currently have a vacancy, we will keep your application on file. 

Pursuant to the requirements of N.J.S.A. 40A:9-9.2(b)(1), any person interested in service on a municipal authority, board or commission shall file a one-page form with the clerk of the municipality expressing interest in public service.  The form is HERE.  In addition to the Citizen Leadership form, we welcome a resume or any additional information you would like to include. 

The form and attachments may be filed in person or by mail at the Clerk’s office located at 1979 Township Drive, Marlboro, NJ  07746.  The form may also be e-mailed to the Clerk at clerk@marlboro-nj.gov

Volunteer opportunities for teens are available through our Teen Advisory Committee (TAC). Please see their webpage http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/TAC.html for more information and to join TAC. The Citizen Leadership form is not required.

  • The Marlboro Economic Development Committee (EDC)  is seeking 4-6 volunteer members.  Please see the LETTER with a job description and how to apply.  Thank you, in advance, for your interest
  • Volunteers are needed for the Marlboro Township Historic Commission.  Monthly meetings are held in Town Hall. The Historic Commission members are appointed by Mayor Hornik.  For more on the Historic Commission, please see their webpage at http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/historic_comm_main.html . Interested residents should submit the Citizen Leadership Form and a brief letter of interest or resume to clerk@marlboro-nj.gov
  • Volunteers are needed to assist victims of Domestic Violence.  Training is provided.  Please see the flyer HERE or contact Lt. Steve Levy, Marlboro Township Police  732 536-0100 ext. 1082. Or email slevy@marlboropd.org
  • Marlboro Youth Exchange Program is looking for Participants and Volunteers.  Please see the attached FLYER for more information.
