Winter Storm #6
February 28, 2019
Once again, Marlboro’s Office of Emergency Management is monitoring some more projected winter precipitation, the first of which is forecasted by the National Weather Service to bring some mixed precipitation early Friday morning. This may be followed by additional precipitation Friday night which is currently forecasted to end as rain on Saturday. While an inch or less of sleet and snow accumulation is projected, the weather may present hazardous driving conditions, especially for the Friday am commute.
Marlboro DPW will have an early crew reporting Friday morning to deal with potential icy conditions, and, as always is prepared to mobilize additional resources if and when needed.
We will continue to track these storms and report back with updates as they become available.
