Tropical Storm Isaias Update #3

Dear Resident,

Please note the following important updates:

JCP&L is reporting approximately 34, 000 customer without power in Monmouth County, 4,857 in Marlboro. If you have lost power, it is important to report your outage to JCP&L. Outages can be called into JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS (1-888-544-4877) to report their outage or click the “Report Outage” link HERE.  Please do not assume neighbors have reported an outage.  One neighborhood can have 

Do not touch, drive over or approach downed wires.  Assume all are live and dangerous and call Marlboro report at 732-536-0100. 

As I write this letter, the following roads are closed: 

1. School Road and Dutch Lane - Wires across road. Road closed.

2. Robertsville Road closed between Topanemus and Club House due to pole leaning over roadway.

3. Route 520 by Crine Road Closed due to downed tree and wires.

4. Traffic light at 520 and Gordons Corner Road out. Stop signs are in place.

5. Lafayette and Robertsville closed due to downed poles.

6) Dutch Lane closed in the area of Spruce and School Road East due to downed tree.

7) Greenwood Road closed between Texas and Ticetown Roads due to a tree in the roadway. 

Marlboro OEM requests that residents stay home and off the road unless travel is essential. Please do not call police for power outage updates as they do not have additional information and it is vital that their lines stay open for emergencies.
