WINTER STORM UPDATE #1

Dear Resident,

Good morning.  We are again under a Winter Storm Warning Sunday 4am through Sunday 7pm.  Heavy snow is expected with total accumulations of 4-7 inches.  The good news, if there is any with a winter storm, is that this storm will be fast moving.  That being said, snowfall rates of two inches an hour are possible and travel is expected to be difficult.  The track and snowfall totals are still uncertain and the Marlboro Office of Emergency Management (OEM) is activated and monitoring the forecast.

We remind you that all vehicles and obstructions must be removed from the roadways.  Brush collection has been postponed until further notice and no lawn debris may be placed curbside.

In an abundance of caution, the COVID Testing truck will be closed Sunday. Please see the FLYER  for more.

Notice of schedule adjustments will be made via email, social media, SWIFT 911, and the Town website.  As some lines of communication are disrupted during a weather emergency please ensure you are registered for multiple communication methods.

Please take the time now to plan and prepare:

  • Visit Marlboro-nj.gov and click ‘Communications for Residents’ (top right button) to register for multiple lines of communication.
  • Marlboro Township e-bulletin (if you are receiving this notice as an email, you are registered for the bulletins). If you did not, click HERE to register.
  • SWIFT 911 – Register your home and cell phones. Most home phones are inoperable if a power outage occurs. The Marlboro Police and OEM deliver urgent updates via SWIFT 911.
