ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE – Week of August 16, 2021
The Marlboro Summer/Fall Road program is underway and construction crews are performing concrete work at various locations throughout the town. Updates will be sent throughout the road program season.
We remind residents that, as per the recycling calendar (LINKED HERE), the road program is in progress and no lawn debris should be curbside until late September as crews pave, patch, repair potholes, and do street sweeping.

ROAD TO REMAIN OPEN – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY
These roads will remain accessible during construction, although motorists are advised to use caution through the work zone. The scheduled time frame for this work is weather-dependent, and every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience to residents during this time.
Church Road - Monday (8/16) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Church Road performing curb restoration as necessary between Floyd Wyckoff Road and Gordons Corner Road. (see below for road closures). Police Officers will be onsite.
Adams and Barclay Streets – Monday (8/16) and Tuesday (8/16) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Adams Street and Barclay Street performing mill and paving operations.
Gary Drive - Tuesday (8/17) through Wednesday (8/18) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Gary Drive performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.
Quebec Road – Thursday (8/19) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Quebec Road performing curb restoration as necessary and installing handicap ramps at all intersections.
Brandywine Drive and Revere Court - Wednesday (8/18) through Friday (8/20) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be performing mill and paving operations.
ROAD CLOSED – CONSTRUCTION ADVISORY – POLICE PRESENT
Harbor Road – Monday (8/16), Tuesday (8/17), Wednesday (8/18), and Monday (8/23) from 7am – 5pm, NJNG will be performing interim paving and road repair at Tennent and Harbor Roads in advance of the Township designing the roadway for full reconstruction with drainage improvements. The roadwork may necessitate closures at times. Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be site to assist motorists and residents.
Conover Road - Thursday (8/19) through Friday (8/20) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Conover Road performing mill and pave operations between Pleasant Valley Road and CR520. Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be site to assist motorists and residents.
Church Road –Tuesday (8/17) Wednesday (8/18) from 7am-5pm, construction crews will be on Church Road performing mill and pave operations between Floyd Wycoff and Gordons Corners Roads. Detours will be in place and Police Officers will be site to assist motorists and residents.
Falson Lane - Falson Lane remains closed from 7am-4pm Monday-Friday. Digital and detour signs are posted. The detour will be from Texas Road, to Greenwood Road, to Ticetown Road, to Bernadette Drive for entry into the Woods Development. This is a daytime closure and Falson Lane will be opened each day at 4pm. (Note: This should be the final week, weather permitting).
