Marlboro Township Police Department will participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 2pm.  To protect your privacy, please remove personal information from the containers. No liquids, needles or sharps will be accepted.   A Project Medicine Drop collection box is available in the lobby of the Police Department 24/7 throughout the year.

Please join Mayor Jon Hornik and the Shade Tree Committee as we celebrate Arbor Day and the Grand Opening of Marlboro’s Community Garden on Saturday, April 30 at 10:00am.   The Community Garden is located on 82 Tennent Road adjacent to the Little Fields and Morganville Fire Company.  Help plant our annual ceremonial tree as a Mayoral Proclamation is being read.   Free tree tublings will be distributed to those who attend (while supplies last).  All garden plots are assigned for 2016, but residents are encouraged to sign up at http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/garden/  to be placed on the waiting list for next year and to register for Township emails to be notified when plots become available at   http://www.marlboro-nj.gov/resident-communications.html For more, please email garden@marlboro-nj.gov . Help Save A Life – Learn How To Use NARCAN May 2 at 6pm. Participants will receive a FREE Narcan® (naloxone) kit and a treatment voucher for 30 days of free substance abuse treatment.  See FLYER for details.


Interested in learning about firefighting? Marlboro Township is forming a Fire Explorer Post.  Open to males and females ages 14-21 and chartered through the Boy Scouts of America,  the Post is modeled after the Police Explorers and participants will learn through training and field trips. The Marlboro Township Division of Police  is now accepting applications for the summer Youth Police Academy Training.  Applicants must be currently in 7th or 8th grade.  The training is  free and will be held August 8 – August 19 from 7:30am to 3:30pm.  Please FLYER for more.

Police Security Vacation Check

Upon request, the Marlboro Township Police will increase patrols to your area while you are on vacation.  Read the Security Check Waiver form, complete and sign the Request for Security Check and either fax to the Police at 732-972-7522 or bring to the Marlboro Police Department. Due to security concerns, emailed forms are not accepted.
This free service is available to residents year round.

We are very lucky to have two First Aid Squads that provide free emergency services for our Town. The Marlboro and Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squads are made up entirely of volunteers that are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While we hope we never need their services, they provide a critical resource when we do. Their flyer with donation instructions is attached. I hope that you will answer their call and make a tax deductible donation to the First Aid & Rescue Squad that serves your home.

  • Department of Public Works Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm. Phone 732 536-0188. DPW office is the 2nd left off Township Drive (Public Works Way).

  • Construction Code Enforcement Division (Building Permits) Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm. Phone 732 536-0200 ext. 1800.   Enter through the back entrance of Town Hall.

  • Recreation Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm.  Phone 732 617-0100. Located at 1996 Recreation Way. Programs are as scheduled. 

  • Marlboro Township Division of Police is open 24/7 and is located at 1979 Township Drive in the Justice Center.  Call 732 536-0100.  In the event of an emergency dial 9-1-1.
