Marlboro Township 9/11 Memorial Paver Project

Please be advised that the Township Offices are now closed on Fridays. Hours are Mon. - Thurs., 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Recreation Department will not be affected by the modified hours of operation and will continue to function on a Monday through Friday schedule. Please check your program schedules for dates and times.


Please join Mayor Jonathan Hornik, Councilwoman Randi Marder, the Marlboro Shade Tree Committee and other local dignitaries as we dedicate The Marlboro Community Garden on October 25 at 10:00am.  Whole Foods Market Marlboro donated 5% of opening day net sales totaling $12,363 in support of the garden.  The parcel is located at 82 Tennant Road adjacent to the Morganville Fire Company and the Little League fields.

Sunday, October 26 is Marlboro's FREE Annual Halloween Parade & Trunk or Treat! Prizes awarded for prettiest, scariest, funniest and most original costumes & Best Decorated Trunk. Held at the Rec Center, registration for the parade begins at 4:00, the Parade starts at 5:00 and we follow with our new tradition, started in the wake of Superstorm Sandy, 'Trunk or Treat'. If you are a parade participant but do not have a car participating in Trunk or Treat, we ask that you consider donating a bag of wrapped candy. Marlboro-Nanto Youth Exchange Program Please join us for an information session on October 27, 2014 at the Recreation Center  to learn more about this exciting program and how your family can participate.

Paper Shredding for Marlboro Township residents only will be held on November 15 from 9am – 1pm (or until the truck is filled) in the Public Works Yard.  See FLYER for details.  

Candlelight Vigil to bring awareness about the dangers of drugged and drunk driving will be held on December 2, 2014 at 6:30pm at Marlboro High School.

DEP Black Bears News Release

• The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) is scheduled to resume work on the Upper Level Deck Replacement Project beginning Monday June 16, 2014. Please see the Press Release for additional information and for ways to receive construction updates.

• NJ Office of homeland Security (OHSP) has a free 'SAFE-NJ' App to instantly report suspicious activity in NJ and surrounding states as a part of its "If You See something, Say Something" campaign. Please see the OHSP letter for more information.

• NJ Departments of Health and Environmental Protection urge  all NJ residents to test their home for radon. More information can be found on the letter from the State Department of Health.

• The Marlboro Township Police Department wants you to be aware that they have received inquiries concerning two types of fraudulent calls.

Message from the Marlboro Township Schools (K-8) Superintendent

Pet licenses are required for each calendar year. Beginning July 1 all pets not licensed will be subject to a $50 fine and possible court appearance in addition to the licensing fee. Please pay your licensing fees and avoid the fine. Final Notice and pet license application are HERE.

Dear Marlboro Resident:
We are very lucky to have two First Aid Squads that provide free emergency services for our Town. The Marlboro and Morganville First Aid & Rescue Squads are made up entirely of volunteers that are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While we hope we never need their services, they provide a critical resource when we do. Their flyer with donation instructions is attached. I hope that you will answer their call and make a tax deductible donation to the First Aid & Rescue Squad that serves your home.

The Marlboro Police Department is recruiting volunteers to serve on the Township Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT).  Training is provided and civilians work with Marlboro Law Enforcement.  For additional information, please see the flyer or call (732) 536-0100 x1685.
