Municipal Alliance

Who are we and what do we do?
The Marlboro Alliance was established in 1990. Our mission continues to be the same as when we first started.
Our goal is to act as a catalyst within the community to raise public awareness about substance abuse issues. We aim to develop and implement substance abuse prevention programs and services that enlighten, educate and empower all residents with the knowledge needed to ensure healthy, safe and drug-free lives based on the needs of the community.
Programs that the Alliance brings into our schools relate to the topic of substance prevention and to empower children with the knowledge necessary to make the right choices. Parent workshops cover a variety of issues to empower parents/guardians with knowledge about risk and resiliency factors.
Our membership comprises representatives of the community including but not limited to, police, schools, government, residents and treatment agencies. Our meetings are once a month during the school year at the Marlboro Recreation Center at 9:15AM unless otherwise noted. Please join us and help us build a healthier and safer community. Your ideas and support are welcomed and greatly needed!
